Safety Steering Committee
Purpose:
The Safety Steering Committee is established to enhance the safety culture within our organization, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders. The committee aims to drive proactive safety initiatives, provide guidance on safety policies, and facilitate communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
Objectives:
- Safety Improvement: Continuously improve safety performance and reduce workplace incidents through proactive measures and initiatives.
- Policy Guidance: Provide recommendations and guidance to enhance existing safety policies and procedures, aligning them with industry best practices and legal requirements.
- Communication and Awareness: Facilitate effective communication regarding safety matters across all departments, ensuring a high level of safety awareness and understanding.
- Training and Development: Support the development and implementation of safety training programs to enhance employees’ knowledge and skills, promoting a safety-conscious work environment.
- Incident Review and Analysis: Review and analyze incidents, accidents, near misses, and safety data to identify root causes and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
